new trends
So we've been out in the market looking for some exciting new trends for fall and back to school. I know it seems a bit early, since it isn't even July 4th yet... But before we all know it it will be time to shop for fall!

The one big theme we're hearing about everywhere is LAYERING!

Vests are going to be such a huge item. Constructed menswear vests, denim vests, and even knit and sweater vests are popping up throughout our market.

They look so cool layered over a vintage tee with some skinny jeans.
Another great trend we've seen is the vest layered over dresses.

I can't wait to get some pics to post up for all to see!

Please feel free to share any great trends you all are seeing out there! Sometimes the best place to pick up on new emerging trends is by walking down the street and "people-watching".

Newbury St in Boston is one of my favorite places around here to look out for new ideas.

Anyone else have a fav spot?
I've always loved the look of vests, but due to the hot climate it's hard to find one that isn't too heavy. I would need a vest made from a lighter material. I look forward to seeing the pictures. It's nice to see certain fashion trends coming back!
i am a curvy latina woman and when i go to your stores (jr dept) i can never seem to find denim that fit me right. usually i will have to shop for the urban denim in order to get them to fit and they are mostly all higher price. why is it that most of the jrs denim selection only fit one specific body type?
Hey Joanna- sorry you've been having a tough time finding that perfect fit.
I would absolutely check back into your local TJ's at the end of this month. We're getting some HUGE shipments of jeans. There are going to be a ton of labels in the mix- some new ones you may have never tried before!
Pricepoints will range from $14.99 to $24.99!!
I have to say I agree with Joanna. The curvy girls who are the majority now a days don't have a good selection in teh juniors department. Why is it that we stick to a trend of skinny people rather than broaden the horizion to the ever changing demographic of people?
oohh... looking forward to the huge shipments of jeans, I'll be checking them out. Just visited Newbury St. in Boston last week and loved it!
