Looking for input from all you "Career" minded Shoppers.....

What are you wearing to work?

What top things are important to you when deciding what to take out of the closet each morning?

What things are important when shopping for "work"?

All feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!

1. Here's what I'm wearing to work: Jackets/blazers that are attractive, not too boxy, stylish; tailored pants with dressier fit and of nice materials --I don't want pants that are too casual or look/fit like jeans; simple shirts to go under jackets or nice, tasteful shirts/blouses; simple belts that are stylish but not faddish or too flashy.
2. Top things in deciding what to wear to work: Comfortable, look nice on, not too wrinkled

3. Important when shopping for work: clothing should be attractive and stylish, without being faddish; not too casual -- nothing like jeans; good quality fabric; shirts not too revealing/low cut; clothing with professional look. Looking for nice pant/jacket combinations that aren't necessarily matched suits.
Loving all things linen! I typically wear dress slacks with wide legs.....heels and classic tops. Not big on prints for the workplace, but will occassionally wear a printed dress or skirt.
would love to hear from jewelry buyers?
In searching for pieces to add to my work wardrobe, I am generally looking for things I can mix and match so that my budget takes me farther. I like classic lines and looks and things that make me stand out without making me look like I'm trying too hard. If I do anything with prints or a bold look, it'll definitely be as a top piece - the bottoms I choose are boring, eh? LOL

I'm big on mix and match separates -- tops, jackets, skirts -- to help my wardrobe go further. Especially tops and jackets that i can also pair with jeans on the weekend. It can't be wrinkly because i don't have the get-up-and-go to get-up-and-iron.
