I was in a store today and saw a necklace and bracelet that were gratitude attitude jewelry. While standing in line I reflected on whether or not I truly have an attitude of gratitude. Some days I do, while other days all I see is what is “wrong”. It all comes down to perspective for me. How am I perceiving things, am I getting my way, and/or am I angry…all these are things that affect my attitude. Awareness, acceptance and practice I think are the answers to my cup being ½ full instead of ½ empty.
Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away. How is your gratitude attitude? What do you do to see the cup ½ full?
