Here in the South, the fall nip in the air has finally blown in although you can’t tell that during the day. LOL Leaves have started turning colors, grass doesn’t need mowing, all those tropical plants are getting put away, things outdoors are slowing down…..it’s time to breathe. As much as I will miss the bright greens of summer, I am looking forward to the awesome yellows/reds of the fall season.
Remember how we actually used to have “seasons”? In past years the seasons seemed to go from summer to winter and back again with no noticeable time for fall or spring. I’m living back in the country this year after a 20 year hiatus in the city so I don’t know if it’s only my perspective that has changed or if something is actually different this year. Does time really pass slower out here than in town or am I just remembering to breathe?
Whichever it is, I am enjoying this fall season. Lightweight jacket, roasting marshmallows on the fire and mug of cocoa here I come. Care to share your thoughts on the fall season? What are you looking forward to? Are you remembering to breathe?
