I don't know if you know who he was, but "Mr. Blackwell" passed away this past week.

"Mr. Blackwell" is the man responsible for the Worst Dressed List. He critiqued them all - Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Cher (frequent offender!), even Queen Elizabeth!!

Obviously you know, if you've read my blog here at all, I was a fan of his.

How could you not adore someone that dubbed Camilla Parker-Bowles "The Duchess of Dowdy"? Or referred to Ann Margaret as "Marlon Brando in a g-string."

His was a biting and caustic wit, but it was fun and campy in the same vein.

So, R.I.P. "Mr. Blackwell" and may you never have to see Mariah Carey looking like "Shrink-wrapped cheesecake." again!
